Meet Aurora

Aurora was born and raised in the North Pole, but never felt truly at home there.  She never fit in with the cool kids at school, who were mostly elves and reindeer.  Also, she was always a bit more full-figured than the average girl.  In high school, Aurora earned money doing dancing bear tricks at birthdays and bar mitzvahs, but even then she recognized that strategy wasn’t a career pat. 

Poised between a career as a domestic worker in a bear household and as a dancing bear in the local circus, Aurora chose instead to run away from the North Pole and start a new life in the states.  This decision was expedited by Aurora’s suspected involvement in the Santa’s Sleigh Sabotage Incident of 2007.

Meet Fantastic Ms Fox

Before becoming one of Ela’s Fellas, Fantastic Ms Fox was a happy urban fox living in a duplex on the Upper East Side.  Unfortunately, her human neighbors were not thrilled to have a fox in the neighborhood, and repeatedly called animal control when they saw her window shopping on Fifth Avenue.  She had been trapped and relocated to suburban Jersey five times when she met Ela on the Path train on her way back into Manhattan. Ms. Fox is currently Ela’s senior vice president of textiles. She has made peace with suburban living and shows devoted brand loyalty
